Our top startups at ISE 2026

2026 was another record-breaking year for ISE with 1,751 exhibitors, 92,170 unique attendees, 120,914 registrations, and a total of over 212,000 visits.

Startups Magazine attended and exhibited in the Innovation Park. With options for entrepreneurs and startups and for other new exhibitors, ISE’s Innovation Park provides an environment specifically designed to amplify innovation.

From video conferencing and collaboration solutions to AI-based music management and assistants, as well as digital board games and ‘throwable’ microphones, the startups in this space were certainly making waves in the AV space.

Here are some of our favourites:

Turtle AV

Turtle AV focuses on Dante audio, a technology for distributing music and audio over standard computer networks throughout buildings. Traditionally, these systems rely on a computer-based management platform that must run continuously to oversee audio routing and control. Turtle AV’s key innovation is moving this functionality into a dedicated hardware box, removing the need for a permanently running PC.

Noro

Noro is an immersive video conferencing and collaboration solution designed to make distributed and hybrid teams feel as if they are working together in the same physical space.

MyVox

MyVox is a company developing novel air-moving components based on MEMS (micro electromechanical systems) technology.

StageSmarts

StageSmarts is a Swedish manufacturer specialising in advanced power distribution solutions for live events and installations. StageSmarts’ systems stand out for their ability to be monitored and managed remotely from virtually anywhere in the world.

Moodsonic

UK-based company Moodsonic focuses on solving noise and sound problems in built environments such as offices, hospitals, schools, and universities. The company emerged from Benway’s experience at a large California sound firm, where he struggled with distractions in open‑plan offices and saw the need for a better acoustic solution.

Waved

Waved technology provides an automated music volume control system designed to improve the guest experience in venues such as hotels and restaurants. Its system uses small sensors that are placed around a space, and they sense the mood and behaviour of guests, including how busy or lively the environment is.

amperry

amperry is an Italian startup that has created a totem station that provides 60Wh power banks. Unlike regular power banks, amperry’s solution is also able to charge laptops. It is currently working with offices, airports, and universities in Italy to get these banks into the hands of those who need to charge their devices.

SCAI Engineering

SCAI Engineering’s AI assistants provide information, as well as actionable instructions to help customers. The AI assistant category is a busy space, but what makes SCAI Engineering stand out is that the solution is able to be embedded within existing machines, such as ticketing machines.

Wizama

See Also

Wizama’s SquareOne is a tabletop gaming system that combines physical game pieces with a digital interface. Powered by RFID, the physical pieces can be detected in real time by the interactive interface.

ScentXP

ScentXP is redefining how we discover fragrance with its patented olfactive technology for retailers, brands, and art galleries. Instead of traditional spray testing that can quickly saturate your nose, Scent XP uses ‘codamizers’ to diffuse perfume as clean, alcohol-free air, letting people sample multiple scents as often as they like without overwhelming their senses.

Soundshape

Inspired by the founder’s experience with two deaf parents, and seeing how difficult it is for those who are hard of hearing to follow live events and meetings, Soundshape offers a plug-and-play system powered by AI that integrates with AV setups to deliver real-time subtitling and translation of live speech into over 100 languages.

Losonnante

Losonnante builds and sells bone conduction devices. The product is an immersive audio technology that uses bone as a conductor, sending sound vibrations through the inner ear’s auditory complex. These signals are then processed by the brain and perceived as sound.

BigMicBall

The BigMicBall is a collection of different-shaped and coloured balls that house a microphone. The balls are “throwable products” that enable sound engineers to use their own belt pack, giving them complete control over the sound at events, especially useful for Q&A sessions and conferences.
