ISE 2026-Losonnante

At ISE 2026, Managing Editor Paige Hookway interviewed Fabien Rolland, Co-founder & Managing Director from Losonnante, to explore the company’s latest advances in sound design.

Losonnante builds and sells bone conduction devices. The product is an immersive audio technology that uses bone as a conductor, sending sound vibrations through the inner ear’s auditory complex. These signals are then processed by the brain and perceived as sound.

The key differentiator is that no additional accessories are required beyond the elbows, which act as the emitters. Users simply place their hands over their ears to experience the audio.

The startup has already secured its first customer. While cultural venues such as museums and tourist attractions are a natural fit for the technology, it is also targeting international expansion into other public spaces, including shopping centres and train stations.
