Soundshape at ISE 2026
At ISE 2026, Managing Editor Paige Hookway speaks with Jari Hazelebach, Founder and CEO of Soundshape by Speaksee, to discuss the startup’s mission to make live events and venues fully accessible, and to make accessibility the standard.
Inspired by Hazelebach’s experience with two deaf parents, and seeing how difficult it is for those who are hard of hearing to follow live events and meetings, Soundshape offers a plug-and-play system powered by AI that integrates with AV setups to deliver real-time subtitling and translation of live speech into over 100 languages.
A 17-person strong team, the future for Soundshape includes expansion, and the continued drive to ensure that accessibility becomes the standard across Europe.
