FUTUREBUILD 2023: TOP TIPS FOR AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE

Futurebuild is setting the stage for the construction industry to come together and share innovations in our joint goal of net zero. Taking place from March 7th to March 9th at London’s ExCeL, it will see creative startups and SMEs given the chance to share their pioneering ideas and products working to make net zero possible. The event is a unique opportunity to witness ground-breaking change first-hand, so we have put together five ways in which you can make the most out of Futurebuild 2023.

1. Learn

The Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programme at Futurebuild includes a packed schedule of free conferences and seminars set across eight stages, taking place over all three days. They are hosted by world-class speakers and industry experts who will share their experiences and debate critical issues. The seminars will also deliver practical advice and guidance for attendees and have been curated by over 90 industry-leading partners. So don’t miss this amazing opportunity to come together, learn together and foster change together.

2. Innovate

Take a walk through the innovation trail to learn from market leaders, and end the trail at the FutureX Innovation Zone, created to support start-ups and SMEs just like you. The zone which is new for 2023 will set the stage for 40 start-ups and SMEs to showcase their trailblazing ideas and smart technologies that are making net zero possible. A selected 9 will get the opportunity to pitch their idea on the Innovation Stage to an expert judging panel, so make sure you immerse yourself in the Innovation Zone and keep your finger on the pulse of visionary work.

3. Network

Before you attend the event, use the Futurebuild 2023 Digital Event Guide and Event app (search Futurebuild wherever you get your apps from) to examine the timetables for each day and identify what exhibitors you want to meet, which conferences and seminars you want to attend and which keynote speakers you want to hear. Why not try to connect in advance so that you can get started on building the foundations for productive collaboration early?

4. Be Inspired

Exhibitors use Futurebuild as the stage for showcasing their brand, launching the latest products and releasing important announcements or reports. At Futurebuild you can be assured you are witnessing market leaders in practice and hearing the important announcements first, so make sure you come with an open mind and are ready to be inspired.

5. Plan

It is useful to plan out your days ahead of the event. By doing this, you can make sure you do not miss out on anything. Make sure you organise your time to see the people you want and attend the sessions that interest you. This year Futurebuild is hosting a variety of unique features that you won't get to see anywhere else such as the pioneering ZED Micro Home by Bill Dunster OBE. Also, make sure you allow yourself enough time to just walk around and explore the diversity of solutions on offer.
