Fiverr unveils Fiverr Go: an AI platform to protect creatives

Fiverr announces the launch of Fiverr Go, an AI platform that fundamentally redefines the relationship between human creativity and artificial intelligence, enabling freelancers and creators to grow their business exponentially while retaining full creative rights.

As existing AI solutions use creative work without compensation and undercut creators with automated, generic content, Fiverr Go combines two powerful offerings to help address these challenges: a personalised AI creation model owned by the creator and based solely on their unique body of work; and a personal assistant that handles customer interactions:

  • Personal AI creation model allows creatives to train AI exclusively on their own work while maintaining complete control over their creative process and rights. Creators configure their models, set their prices and retain the rights to their creative work, allowing them to benefit directly from their AI-powered capabilities.
  • Personal AI assistant analyses previous interactions to adapt to the freelancer's preferences and attitudes. It can improve communication with potential clients, perform routine tasks, and provide insights, thus becoming the freelancer's employee. Fiverr's data shows how crucial the first three minutes are for closing a sale. This tool ensures that freelancers never miss out on a project, even when they're offline.
  • Freelancer equity programme: as part of its commitment to empowering freelancers, Fiverr also announced a freelancer equity programme – a first in the industry that aims to give company shares to high-performing freelancers.

“We built Fiverr Go to ensure that creatives remain at the centre of the creative economy,” says Micha Kaufman, CEO of Fiverr. “This isn't just another AI platform – it's a fundamental reimagining of how AI and human creativity can work together. Instead of allowing creatives to be exploited, Fiverr Go ensures they receive proper recognition and compensation, while giving them innovative tools to scale their work. It's about making our freelancers irreplaceable, not obsolete.”

“The launch of Fiverr Go is a pivotal moment in the evolution of creative work,” Kaufman continued. “We're not just providing tools, we're creating a new paradigm where AI amplifies human creativity while preserving its essential value. Our platform gives creatives the ability to scale their work without jeopardising their creative integrity or financial interests.”

At launch, Fiverr Go is available for a range of creative service categories, including voiceover, songwriting, graphic design, illustration, copywriting, and digital marketing. Only vetted freelancers with a proven track record of creative work on Fiverr will be able to work with Fiverr Go during this launch phase. This will ensure high-quality use of the tool and, above all, high-quality results.

As Fiverr introduces its personalised AI technology, the company also announced that Fiverr Go will be an open platform for developers that will allow model developers and AI engineers to develop real-world AI applications running on Fiverr’s data, one of the most extensive transactional data sets in existence today. This enables developers to deploy advanced agents and APIs not only to address simple tasks but also the most complex ones, as well, giving developers the opportunity to make money from their applications while offering the most advanced tools to freelancers to take their businesses to the next level.

At a time when AI tools often exploit human creativity without proper recognition or compensation, Fiverr sees an opportunity to reshape this dynamic. The company's new platform is a crucial step in ensuring that AI serves to enhance, not diminish, the creative potential of humans.

Among the freelancers who can benefit from Fiverr Go is Dee Smith, a voice-over artist who has earned nearly half a million dollars on the platform since 2021. “Being a freelancer on Fiverr has completely changed my life,” says Smith. “With Fiverr Go, I'm excited for the opportunity to grow my business in a way that just wasn't possible before. This technology will take things to a whole new level while ensuring I stay in control of my creative work.”
