eMobility Expo World Congress opens submissions for its startup competition

Startups will play a key role at eMobility Expo World Congress 2023, the innovation event for the electrified, autonomous, connected and sustainable mobility industry, which takes place in Valencia (Spain) from 21-23 March.

The event will host the eMobility Startup Forum, a competition between the most innovative startups that will present the most disruptive technology-based solutions and business models in sustainable mobility.

The eMobility Startup Forum will bring together more than 400 startups from all over the world to compete with the most innovative, technological, and sustainable projects for the mobility industry. The eMobility Startup Forum will have 8 sections dedicated to micro-mobility, Sustainability, New Materials, Energy Supply and Storage, Urban Design and Infrastructure, Smart Mobility, Urban Mobility, and Transport and Logistics. The solutions presented will stand out for their innovation and impact on the mobility sector through technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Digital Twin, IoT, Blockchain, Big Data & Analytics, Cybersecurity, Industrial Cloud, Machine Learning, etc. Startups that want to participate in the eMobility Startup Forum can apply until 24 February.

In addition, during the afternoon of 22 March and 23 March, business leaders, potential partners and investors will have the opportunity to meet with startups to promote knowledge transfer and the creation of synergies between all industry players. These meetings have four main objectives: to improve the sector's productivity by focusing on sustainability; to develop more sustainable industries, regions, and cities; to generate future-oriented production and business models; and to expand the capabilities and usefulness of mobility products.

"We have the mission to reach the European Commission's target of reducing a 55% of our emissions by the end of 2030. The new solutions, projects and business models promoted by startups are fundamental to this end, as they are driving the industry to new scenarios. Therefore, we want to give them visibility within eMobility Expo World Congress so they can pitch their ideas to investors and large companies to establish synergies between the different actors in the mobility sector ", said Sandra Infante, director of eMobility Expo World Congress.

The first edition of the eMobility Startup Forum will be held within the framework of the eMobility Expo World Congress. During three days, more than 5,000 professionals from all over the world, from the public and private sectors, will meet in Valencia to define the challenges and solutions involved in the development of the new mobility. Registration to attend the event is now available on its website.
