City of London Corporation and NEXUS Launch Partnership to Support UK and Founders

The City of London Corporation and NEXUS have signed a partnership agreement to promote London as a destination for ambitious startup founders, providing access to critical infrastructure, networks, and learning opportunities to support the next generation of high-growth businesses.

The partnership will see NEXUS members gain access to the City of London’s Small Business Research and Enterprise Centre (SBREC), based at 80 Basinghall Street. Through a combination of free and subscription-based membership options, the agreement enables founders within the NEXUS network to benefit from one of London’s most established SME support hubs, offering on-site resources, expert guidance, and peer learning opportunities.

NEXUS will also open up access to its expertise as an innovation hub, offering SBREC members a series of webinars and knowledge-sharing events designed to support entrepreneurs at the very start of their business journey. Both organisations will explore opportunities for joint content and educational initiatives, tailored to the needs of early-stage businesses within the Square Mile and wider London ecosystem.

The City of London Corporation’s Lead SME member, Shravan Joshi said: “London is a world-leading hub for innovation, entrepreneurship, and growth. Our partnership with NEXUS strengthens the City’s commitment to supporting the next generation of business leaders by connecting them to the resources, expertise, and networks they need to thrive. Together, we are ensuring that London remains the best place in the world to start, scale, and succeed.”

Mark Sarfo-Kantanka, CEO & Co-Founder of NEXUS, adds: “This partnership reflects our shared belief in making world-class resources more accessible to founders. London’s entrepreneurial ecosystem is global in reach, and by working together, we’re making it easier for innovative businesses to find their footing, build their networks, and grow.”

The partnership is part of both organisations’ ongoing commitment to supporting SMEs and ensuring London remains a thriving, inclusive environment for business creation and scale.
