Calmer Community nurtures mental health of entrepreneurs
Calmer launches the digital Calmer Community platform for busy professionals and joins forces with Startups Magazine as Mental Health & Wellbeing Partner.
Calmer has announced the launch of the Calmer Community digital membership platform created to nurture good mental health and wellbeing, which is accessible 24/7, 365 days a year. Designed for entrepreneurs, freelancers and busy professionals, it provides evidence-based skills to enable participants to navigate full schedules and demanding workloads in a healthy and manageable way.
The platform offers monthly stress reduction strategies, techniques and insights to build healthy self-care habits that stick, and encourage a happier, relaxed and calmer working day - all for a small monthly membership fee of £12.00. A live experience of the Calmer Community membership presenting a series of interactive Mindfulness practices, from meditation to mindful movement, will be held in London on the 19th September at Campfire, Shoreditch.
Work-related stress and burnout is a growing epidemic, and with around 5.7 million entrepreneurs and small business owners in the UK alone, there is a real need to support this important sector of the business community. The Calmer Community exists as a solution to empower entrepreneurs, freelancers and business teams to prioritise their mental health and wellbeing, with a range of resources available on-the-go, whenever they need," said Tania Diggory, Founder and Director of Calmer.
“Calmer is thrilled to also announce that we’ve joined forces with Startups Magazine as their Mental Health & Wellbeing Partner, with the aim to positively impact as many entrepreneurs, freelancers and startups as possible through our events and content collaboration,” added Diggory.
The Calmer and Startups Magazine’s new partnership aims to provide tech startup teams, entrepreneurs and freelancers with mental health and wellbeing insights, highlight the importance of wellbeing in the workplace, and ultimately enable teams to create their own empowering workplace cultures.
“We are very excited to become Calmer’s Media Partner, and are looking forward to our journey ahead,” said Founder and Editor of Startups Magazine Daisy Stapley-Bunten.
“Our first collaboration will be at Calmer’s event, How to be Calmer at Work, where I will be sharing insights on the essential characteristics of successful businesses and why mental health needs to be a crucial part of that conversation.”
