Tomaso Torriani, CEO and co-founder of Movopack, founded the Milan-based company to address the single-use packaging problem in e-commerce, recognising the potential of circular packaging to transform the $1 trillion global packaging market. Before launching Movopack in 2021, he spent four years at Ambienta, the leading private equity firm focused on environmental sustainability, where he gained expertise in sustainable investments. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Movopack has since expanded beyond Italy, and in 2024, the company launched in the UK, leveraging the Royal Mail postal system to provide British e-commerce brands with sustainable, returnable packaging solutions.
