Women in Electronics announces global expansion efforts

Women in Electronics (WE) has announced they are going global, with chapter expansions into Europe beginning this month. This will be the first international chapter for the three-year-old professional association with a focus on women in the electronics industry.

“We are excited to go global with WE,” said Jackie Mattox, Founder and President of WE. “Our team looks forward to working with our new European members and encouraging women and men across the globe to work together to find inspiration, strength and empowerment through community.”

Women in Electronics’ expansion into Europe will officially be launched at a virtual Meet & Greet, scheduled for September 16. WE’s Executive Board Jackie Mattox, Monica Highfill and Amy Keller will present an overview of the organization as well as answer questions during the interactive event. Established in 2017, WE is focused on talent development and building community through the organizational goals of empowering through strategic networking and collaborative round table discussion opportunities, advocating with their flagship mentorship program, developing through their professional and personal development, and celebrating the accomplishments of women, men, and the organizations that support them.
