
Tech titans descend on Manchester for DTX & UCX 2025
DTX & UCX Manchester, the North’s enterprise IT and technology event, is set to return to Manchester Central on April 2-3, 2025, bringing together world-class speakers, cutting-edge technologies and an agenda dedicated to "Innovation with Integrity."
DTX & UCX Manchester is the North’s ultimate gathering for IT leaders, technologists and digital disruptors, tackling the most pressing challenges in AI, cyber security, cloud computing and unified comms. This year’s event promises to be the most game-changing on record, featuring an impressive lineup of industry pioneers and thought leaders.
Dame Laura Kenny, Britain’s most successful female athlete in Olympic history, will headline the event on day one taking to the main stage to discuss her journey from track to trailblazer and the power of mental resilience. John Romero, the prolific game creator behind DOOM, Quake and Wolfenstein, will take to the main stage on day two to discuss how he turned an idea into an icon through relentless innovation and creative evolution.
Piers Linney, one of the UK’s most renowned entrepreneurs, Former Dragon and Co-Founder of Implement.ai, will also host a session on the main stage discussing how organisations can put their new AI workforce to work. Additionally, the main stage will also feature an esteemed panel of experts from Lloyds, Skyes Cottages and Microsoft where they will discuss how to create and execute an AI action plan for innovation, creativity and growth.
The "Innovation with Integrity" theme will feature at the heart of the conference, exploring how businesses can leverage emerging technologies, like AI, while maintaining ethical, secure, humane and transparent practices.
DTX & UCX will also host a roster of pioneering speakers tackling today’s most important technology issues, including:
- Rik Ferguson VP of Security Intelligence at Forescout, will present on the Threat Detection and Response Stage addressing the growing complexity of cyber security
- Murray Mackenzie, Director of Transformation at Virgin Media O2, will present a case study on the Data and AI Stage focused on Daisy – the AI Granny scamming the scammers
- The Office for Nuclear Regulation and Jaguar Land Rover will take to the Cyber Hack Stage to discuss how to prioritise mental health within cyber security teams
- Jake Moore, Crime Enthusiast and Global Cyber Security Advisor at ESET, will take to the Cyber Hack Stage to share his learnings on facial recognition hacking
- Keeley Crockett, Professor in Computational Intelligence at Manchester Metropolitan University, will host a panel discussion on the Data and AI Stage discussing People-powered AI: Designing inclusive, human-centred technology for innovation
DTX & UCX Manchester will also host a series of dynamic fringe events designed to engage, educate and inspire delegates. This includes the DevOps Manchester Meetup, the Manchester Digital Startup Activator Meetup, the Cyber-lympics competition with Cyber House Party, a Crisis Management Workshop, an Onsite AI Workshop plus a Careers Fair.
Coinciding nicely with the event's theme, DTX will also host Manchester’s first wellness hub, where visitors can escape the crowds and rejuvenate themselves with binaural beats and a relaxing seating lounge.
