South Summit 2025 'In Motion': The global movement connecting technology, planet and humanity to drive entrepreneurial innovation

'In Motion' will be the theme of South Summit Madrid 2025, the annual meeting for the global innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem, co-organised by IE University taking place from June 4 to 6, 2025 in Madrid. This slogan reflects a global movement connecting technology, the planet and humanity to drive entrepreneurial innovation.

For María Benjumea, founder and president of South Summit, 'In Motion' represents the event's commitment to "create a movement with purpose and impact among all ecosystem players, turning uncertainties into opportunities". 'In Motion' also refers to "the need for a collective effort where we all work side by side. This is how we will achieve positive growth in our economy, which also impacts our planet and society," explains Benjumea.

"In Motion" centres on the need for our ecosystem not only to stay ahead of and keep pace with disruption but also to lead change by tackling global challenges through a strategic, collaborative, and interconnected approach. Innovation requires seeing progress as a movement toward a future that balances and values industry, the planet, and humanity. For entrepreneurs, this means recognising that every decision and action they take affects both their industry and the ecosystem.

As in previous editions, South Summit Madrid 2025 will bring together leading figures who drive the innovation ecosystem, along with the world’s most disruptive startups in the world to present their projects to companies and investors from all over the world.

The registration period for the South Summit Madrid 2025 Startup Competition is open until January 31, 2025. This competition, which annually selects the 100 most disruptive startups globally, has established itself as synonymous with visibility and success for the projects that participate in it.
