Safe-Citizens joins the effort to save lives in Turkey and Syria
British startup Safe-Citizens, a provider of emergency management and warning solutions, has deployed its safety platform to ServeOn, a disaster relief and humanitarian aid organisation who are deploying to Turkey and Syria to assist with the crisis.
The International Community is responding to the humanitarian crisis in Turkey and Syria following the devastating earthquakes that ripped through the country with the human toll reaching more than 5,000 deaths and 20,000 injured
The deployment of the Safe-Citizens platform will provide ServeOn with a comprehensive and integrated solution for managing their response to the crisis, ensuring that their people stay as safe as possible and are as effective as possible while they work in hazardous conditions to rescue people caught up in the terrible earthquake that has shaken Turkey and Syria.
The Safe Citizens platform includes advanced features such as real-time monitoring, live mapping, and real-time updates to keep ServeOn personnel informed and aware of the evolving emergency situation. Additionally, the platform provides real-time situational awareness to support decision making to aid in the efficient allocation of resources, such as personnel and equipment.
"We are thrilled to partner with ServeOn to help ensure the safety and effectiveness of their personnel during emergency situations," said Martin Hogan, CEO of Safe-Citizens. "Our platform will provide ServeOn with the tools and information they need to respond effectively during this crisis and make informed decisions that will help save lives."
“We are excited and hopeful that the Safe Citizens Platform will enable us to be more effective as we try to make a difference during this sad and tragic time” said Dan Cooke, Director of Operations for ServeOn.
