Reclaim the Future at TNW Conference 2023

The Next Web Conference, the leading international tech festival, announces ‘Reclaim the future’ as the theme for this year’s event in Amsterdam on June 15-16. The theme is a call to action for the industry to come together in Amsterdam to shake off the negative around tech and once more put it at the centre of a hopeful future.

TNW sets out this year to refocus the tech industry and bring back the ‘tech positivity’ that was omnipresent in its early days. “In the past few turbulent years, we chose not to have an annual theme for the event. Instead, we focused on showcasing our beloved conference as the place where ‘what’s next in tech’ is discovered, right now”, says Myrthe van der Erve, CEO of TNW. “That aspect will never change, but in 2023, it's time for us to be bold again. We've been doing this for 17 years without making it explicit, but TNW Conference is the place where tech can reclaim the future. That’s why this year, it’s the main theme of the event.”

Making a positive impact is infused in every part of the event, not only in talk tracks like Future Tech, Impact and Inclusive Tech. TNW shows what positive impact can look like through all-vegetarian food offerings, a commitment to recycling and minimising (water) waste and usage of sustainable energy sources. Inclusivity is another key value, realised through partner collaborations to provide equal access to TNW events.

Inspiring Change for Good

In 2023, TNW Conference continues to live up to its reputation of bringing tech leaders and luminaries on its stages to inspire 10,000 founders, executives, investors, startups and innovators. The line-up for this year includes:
