Koa Health launches mental health platform Koa Care 360
Koa Health, a global provider of mental healthcare services, has announced the launch of Koa Care 360. Koa Care 360 is a comprehensive mental health platform designed to help employers offer personalised care to their employees, including preventative services, online therapy, and customised solutions tailored to each individual’s needs.
It also acts as a central hub, allowing employees to easily access and connect with other mental health resources provided by their employer.
Despite the increase in mental health benefits offered by companies in recent years, many employees aren’t taking advantage of them. A Deloitte study revealed that 68% of workers avoid using these benefits because they find them too time-consuming, complicated, or difficult to access. Koa Care 360 addresses these challenges by streamlining mental health care and offering a seamless integration with existing employer-provided benefits, making it easier for employees to access the support they need.
“Organisations are struggling to engage employees with mental health benefits, which is why we built Koa Care 360 to meet people where they are with personalised, clinically-validated care,” said Dr Oliver Harrison, Founder and CEO of Koa Health. “For organisations to support their people and help them become healthier and more productive employees, Koa Health saw a need to bring everything mental health-related into one powerful platform.”
With 59% of working adults dealing with at least one mental health issue, improving access to care is crucial.
“Not every person needs therapy, so it can be overwhelming for employees to know what they need or how to access the care they need using employer-provided benefits,” said Jennifer Keashon, Director of Compensation and Benefits, Americas, at International SOS. “Koa Care 360 was designed by psychologists to help employees understand what they need, quickly navigate to the right level of care, and give them ownership of their wellbeing.”
Koa Care 360 is accessible to employees on any device, starting with a brief assessment that tailors personalised, evidence-based services to each individual's needs. The platform offers a spectrum of care options, from interactive self-help tools to professional therapy sessions, ensuring that employees receive the right level of support.
Focused on delivering clinical-first mental health care, Koa Care 360 is designed to enhance workforce wellness by proactively supporting and restoring mental health. The service uses regular prompts and intuitive care pathways, guiding users through a blend of technology-driven and human-centred experiences. This holistic approach helps address, prevent, and manage mental health challenges while reducing the overwhelm often caused by multiple disjointed solutions. As a result, it boosts productivity and engagement while lowering mental health risks and costs for organisations.
Developed in partnership with leading global universities, Koa Care 360 is underpinned by rigorous research, including findings from 65 peer-reviewed studies, 27 patents, and 21 clinical trials, one of which is the largest known study of app-based mental health support for healthcare workers. Available in 83 countries and eight languages, the platform has met the high standards set by independent reviewers ORCHA and OneMind, making it a trusted solution for mental health support worldwide.
