Infobip Shift expands outside of Europe: first-ever US edition to be held in Miami this May

Infobip Shift, one of the biggest and most popular developer events in Europe, will have its first edition in the USA, in Miami, on the 23rd of May, at the historic Alfred DuPot building. With this move, the conference, originally based in Croatia, will take the next step in its efforts of reaching and empowering the global developer community.

''Infobip Shift was, from its inception, an event that aimed to bring together developers and tech enthusiasts from all over the world. Organizing the event on another continent is a logical next step in that direction, and so is choosing the USA as it is the country with the highest number of developers in the world'', explains Ivan Burazin, Infobip's CDXO and adds: ''We decided to host the event in Miami since it's a city with a very active and booming tech scene, and it also has a great energy that suits the brand of the Shift conference. We believe this is just the first edition of the conference which recur in the future''

Infobip Shift in Europe has grown into a highly-attended event, gathering more than 4.000 people from all over the world at the last edition in September of 2022. For the first US edition, the organizers decided on a different approach and aim at a smaller number of attendees.

''We want to introduce ourselves to the US audience first, and that is why we deliberately decided to go with a smaller scale event. We are expecting somewhere from 500 up to 1000 people, mostly from the USA, but also from the LATAM tech industry.'' – says Nikola Radišić, Infobip Shift Miami team lead.

Infobip Shift conferences are always marked with quality speakers and sessions, but also with a strong focus on making sure all attendees have a great time. Nikola insists that the same criteria stand for the US edition:

''We are strongly focused on the quality of the event, and we will make sure all speakers and sessions offer something educational and valuable for all attendees. Of course, we will bring the vibe for which Shift is well-known because we want all the attendees to learn, meet new people, and also have fun. This combination creates a great event and generates positive word of mouth which travels fast in the developer community''

In addition to the high-quality talks, Infobi Shift Miami will provide attendees with the opportunity to network, and prospect, but also to party. This combination of business and fun sets Shift apart from similar events, and it is exactly what the Miami event will brin to the North and South American tech scene.
