Erin Hallock, Managing Partner at bp Ventures is responsible for origination, investment and portfolio management activities to accelerate bp’s effort to achieve Net Zero.  Erin has spent her 20-year career advising businesses, initially as a management consultant supporting Fortune 100 and 500 technology businesses and more recently as investor where she has participated in over 20 investments. Erin holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business. She also holds a post-Baccalaureate degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and a BA in International Studies from the University of Washington.

Erin is a mum to 2 young children and has experienced first-hand the game-changing impact the Carifit classes had on her during her own postnatal journey.

“Vern and his expertise became an invaluable support when I was navigating the early stages of motherhood. I believe whole heartedly in his vision and admire his purpose and commitment to support new parents. My role as a venture capitalist has afforded me the opportunity to meet with a number of exciting and innovative founders and it's extremely rewarding for me to that I am now in a position to support Vern and his Carifit Team as Chairwoman and to give back to a business that was instrumental in supporting me."

Erin joins Sophie Ashworth and Richard Johnson on the company board. Sophie is a 2-time Carifit mum, experienced Angel Investor and formerly of BNP Paribas. Richard has recently stepped down as CEO of Endomol Shine UK and adds his Carifit role alongside other NEDs and his Chairman position at Screen Skills the UK's screen (TV and film) training and skills body, backed by the BFI .
