BIO

Toby has been a marketeer for over 20 years, working in the UK and North America. His career has included leading the growth of a sports and wellness tech start-up, launching over 40 products into global, bricks-and-mortar retailers, from Apple Stores to CVS. He also created and grew their direct-to-consumer offering, and this fast-growth business was then acquired by
Adidas.

As well as start-up experience, he’s held numerous strategic roles within large advertising, brand, design and media agencies. As a result, he has led strategy for brands such as BT, Barclays and Johnson & Johnson.

In 2018, he co-founded Wake The Bear, a marketing communications agency designed and built to partner with businesses going through critical periods of change; those that are starting-up, scaling-up and shaking-up.
