BigMicBall at ISE 2026

At ISE 2026, Managing Editor Paige Hookway talks to Sam Gordon, Director at Big Purple Group, to uncover how the company is redefining immersive audio with its BigMicBall.
The BigMicBall is a collection of different-shaped and coloured balls that house a microphone. The balls are “throwable products” that enable sound engineers to use their own belt pack, giving them complete control over the sound at events, especially useful for Q&A sessions and conferences.
The products are made from a “stress core material” and are easy to brand. The core is an acoustic foam, and a standard belt pack can be put inside.
What’s next?
BigMicBall is currently looking for more resellers to expand their market reach, which already extends across the UK, Denmark, and New Zealand.
