Nick Sacke

Nick Sacke is Head of Products and IoT at Comms365 and has over 30 years of telecommunications experience ranging from Sales to Director roles. Previously, Nick has worked as a senior product and commercial specialist for Managed ICT and IoT propositions and services for SME, Enterprise and Local Government customers. Nick holds product and commercial development responsibilities for a set of innovative, market leading Mobile Data, Bonding, Fixed Line communications and Internet of Things (IoT) service solutions for the B2B market space at Comms365. As the commercial and technical lead for its IoT business, Nick’s key responsibilities involve reviewing and enhancing Comms365’s product roadmap as well as planning and executing its IoT strategy. There is a lot of noise around IoT at the moment, and it’s quickly becoming one of the fastest growing areas of technology. However, Nick believes there is a real need for an end-to-end solution that really delivers value for the customer.

1 in 5 people in the UK may be impacted by web accessibility barriers

Chris Todhunter, Technical Director at Studio Republic explains the importance of online accessibility: “Web accessibility should be seen in the same way as a high street shop without wheelchair access, or a cinema without a hearing loop – excluding a website user because of their disability has long been classed as discrimination in the USA and we’re quite a way behind in the UK in terms of legislation. In fact, 97.4% of 1 million website home pages tested in a WebAIM 2023 study were found to have accessibility errors. The most common failures are actually pretty easy to fix.”
