Hatty Fawcett

Hatty has a proven track record of raising equity investment for early-stage startups, having raised over £5 million for the startups she’s worked with in the last 12 months. Hatty believes startup investment should be available to everyone and the process shouldn’t be over-complicated or unnecessarily time-consuming. She is known for her with underrepresented founders.  Hatty works with startups raising their first or second round of equity investment, giving them clarity on the information investors will expect, connecting them to the right investors but also to mentors who are generous in sharing their insights and connections, and, finally, supporting startups in negotiating and closing their funding round. Hatty’s approach is both practical and confidence building. She is known for her down-to earth, no nonsense approach, focused on action and results. Having raised investment for her own business, and subsequently looking after some of the investments Kelly Hoppen made when she was a Dragon on the TV show “Dragons Den”, Hatty has seen investment from both sides of the fence and is uniquely placed to understand the founder journey and what early-stage investors look for. Hatty has been recognised as Enterprise Nation Adviser of the Year 22/23 for Finance and Funding and is a finalist in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2023.
