Dr Sam Chapman

Dr Sam Chapman is a serial entrepreneur and scientist. He leads The Floow in new markets, research and innovation areas. Sam has developed, from initial research through to production, a number of global world first products all supported by large data insights from how we move. His focus remains on understanding and improving mobility and the lived environment using large scale and diverse data. His work has helped: discover new species, gain an aerospace patent, pioneer many products, launch Europe’s first Robotaxi, change international laws, save many lives, set national policy and changed mobility across many cities. His work is collaborative, working alongside global leading organisations and experts. As well as work in The Floow Sam has other roles as trustee, board member, scientific advisor and ambassadorial positions. Sam was appointed the world’s first ‘digital cutler’, has been assigned a hallmark, and has a second honorary doctorate for services to innovation lead economic growth.
