South Summit Madrid 2024, co-organised with IE University, will be held at La Nave in Madrid from June 5th to 7th under the slogan ‘HUMAN by Design’ and will generate an economic impact of almost €35 million, which would imply a growth of 25% over last year’s edition and an average expenditure of €1,572 per visitor. This is one of the main conclusions of the report ‘Socioeconomic Impact of South Summit in Spain 2024’ prepared by PwC, which was released today during the official presentation of South Summit Madrid 2024.
According to market figures, 93% of Chief Data Officers agree that data strategy is crucial in order to derive value from generative artificial intelligence. In this sense, the role of the CDO in companies has evolved and has become essential in recent years as they are leading the incorporation of exponential technologies, with the preponderance of AI, anticipating digital trends and drawing the best roadmap from data-driven decision making.
This international hub on cybersecurity, co-funded by the National Institute of Cybersecurity (INCIBE), an entity under the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Function, through the Secretary of State for Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence, and the University of Salamanca, continues its activity with a major event in Ibiza on 26 April, with the participation of relevant corporates, investors and startups.
