The Seed round also saw participation from notable angels, including Arvind Rajan (Cricket Health), Eric Salama (former Kantar CEO) and David Shein (GP at OIF Ventures).
octonomy, the German-founded AI company building agentic systems for complex enterprise support and service workflows, has announced the successful completion of a new seed round totalling $20 million, led by Macquarie Capital Venture Capital, with participation from Capnamic, NRW.Bank, and theTechVision Fund. This brings octonomy’s total funding to $25 million since its founding 15 months ago.
Legora, the collaborative AI platform for lawyers, has announced the completion of a Series C round of $150 million at a $1.8 billion valuation, led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with significant investment from existing investors ICONIQ, General Catalyst, Redpoint Ventures, Benchmark, and Y Combinator, to accelerate its global expansion and growing product roadmap.
SpinDrive has raised new growth funding. The company’s frictionless machinery products enable industrial end-users and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to achieve higher energy efficiency and productivity, while reducing operational emissions, maintenance costs, and pollution from oil-based lubricants.
Chainguard, the trusted source for open source, announced $280 million in growth financing from General Catalyst’s Customer Value Fund (CVF). This investment, which will help Chainguard meet growing demand and accelerate its mission to make open source software trustworthy by default, follows the company’s Series D fundraise in April and marks $636 million total secured in the past six months and $892 million in total.
