ONO revolutionises fleet incident management with female leadership in a male-dominated industry

ONO, a fleet management platform, is breaking barriers, not just in technology but in leadership. Created by Renee Rogers, ONO was born out of frustration and necessity.

Renee spent 10 years building and managing a fleet of 500 vehicles, dealing with thousands of drivers, most of whom speak English as a second language and facing the immense challenges of motor claims, losses, and repairs. After realising that no existing software could meet the specific needs of the fleet business and her drivers, she decided to create her own solution.

Despite having no tech background, Renee knew exactly what needed to be built. Confident in her vision, she invested her life savings to create a scrappy MVP and start brand building.

Navigating the tricky world of raising capital, she immersed herself in learning; asking countless questions, reading extensively, and connecting with those who had successfully raised funds.

Through perseverance, Renee completed two rounds of funding, securing the financial backing to build ONO, and launch in the UK.

Renee’s relentless approach demonstrates a commitment to fairness, support and transparency in the fleet industry. Unlike other claims solutions, ONO does not profit from incidents. The app is designed to help drivers navigate the stressful experience of road traffic incidents and offer the much-needed support during a challenging and sometimes emotional situation. ONO’s fleet platform focuses on assisting fleet operators to help drivers recover from incidents without additional pressure, providing real-time insights to reduce risks and enhance safety. From an operational perspective, it increases control over insurance premiums, contributes to fraud prevention, all while maintaining compliance and promoting a driver-first culture.

As a woman in an male-dominated industry, Renee’s journey is an inspiring one. She has transformed personal challenges into sector-wide opportunities, proving that the future of fleet management relies not only on technology but also on creating a safe, blame-free environment where drivers feel comfortable reporting, and fleet managers can take proactive steps to enhance fleet safety.

With ONO, the future of fleet management is driven by both innovation and personal experience – offering a powerful, intuitive solution for a complex industry.
