That is why Startups Magazine created The Hustle Awards, a yearly award that will recognise, celebrate and share some of the most incredible people and their stories – from the fire-starters to every entrepreneur that took that leap of faith with their idea.

The Hustle Awards are here to create a media opportunity for winners of the awards as well as the awards themselves, to highlight ‘self-starters’ in the UK & stories of inspiration & motivation. But also to establish Startups Magazine at the heart of the creative and entrepreneurial economy, and of course showcase creativity from across the UK and show how startups and the self-employed economy are booming and adapting, whilst encourage diversity and accessibility.

Of course, we planned to do this in style and have a massive party where everyone can attend, celebrate, and network all together – however this year to do that in person is not possible.

Fear not though startup community and beyond, as this year we decided to take the virtual, and then have an even bigger celebration next year! So for now, join us throughout the month of July to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit as each week we will highlight one winner from each category – celebrate them and show them off to our lovely readers.

The categories this year include:

• Biggest 2020 Hero
• Founder of the Year
• Social Impact Hero - Sponsored by City Business Library. 
• Best UK Startup

Then we will celebrate with a virtual awards party, where we will be speaking to the winners, nominee, judges and lots of people from the community.

The winners will receive:

• An article announcing the winner on startupsmagazine.co.uk
• Multiple Instagram story posts shouting about our winner and what they do, plus free promotion across all the social channels
• A free top-spot space on the newsletter, where we will announce that week’s winner to our startups community
• A feature in the printed issue within the next 12-month editorial calendar
• A promotional video or podcast about our winner to be shared with our audience
• A bottle of champagne, a certificate and congratulatory note from the Startups Magazine team (and our sponsors)
• A number of partner perks and of course a spot on our 'Virtual Awards' Webinar on 13th August
