HumanForest launches its #nametheforest competition
London's first carbon neutral micro-mobility company, HumanForest, is on a mission to reposition transportation in the capital’s mindsets, by encouraging Londoners to feel more engaged with the way they choose to get around.
HumanForest is giving all of its users (“Treenions”) the opportunity to name one of a hundred new eBikes that the firm is releasing across London (“the Forest”), over the coming month. Treenions can suggest names via social media, and the first 50 winning names will be selected via a series of Instagram polls on HumanForest’s Instagram account.
The company believes the campaign will drive awareness of the importance of considering our transportation habits and the impact they have on the environment. HumanForest also hopes that many of the chosen names may link to some of our planet’s most important and legendary environmental campaigners.
As well as being an environmentally considerate form of micro-mobility in the capital, HumanForest is also affordable. The company offers all users ten minutes free riding daily, with the opportunity to receive further free minutes, facilitated by its corporate partnership model. The naming competition will link to HumanForest’s drive to make micro-mobility more accessible, as all winners will be credited with seven days free and unlimited riding on HumanForest.
The competition will commence on 12 May 2022.
Michael Stewart, Head of Marketing at HumanForest, said: “We couldn’t think of a better way to pay tribute to these legendary climate campaigners, people who have paved the way for future generations. But we’re also hoping to discover lots of local climate change heroes, who perhaps haven’t got the recognition they deserve. It’s time now to acknowledge their hard work and put their name on one of our sustainable eBikes.”
