Cleantech startup launches campaign to deliver power to Ukrainian refugees

Since Saturday 5th March 2022, Lifesaver has supported the donation of over 2,000 fully charged power banks with in-built cables, which have been driven and delivered directly to those in need in Poland and key Ukrainian cities, including Lviv. Throughout the month of March, Lifesaver will be matching the sale and rental of every power bank at The O2 and Cheltenham Festival and it has also launched a Just Giving campaign to raise £1,000 so it can continue to support the donation of its power banks at cost price. Every £7 + VAT donated will send a Lifesaver power bank directly to a Ukrainian refugee.

Archie Wilkinson, CEO, Lifesaver Power, said: “I have personally been brought to tears seeing how many people’s lives have been destroyed overnight by the war in Ukraine. Lifesaver is proud to be a B Corporation and that means using our business for good. With direct contacts and lines into Ukraine, we are donating as many power banks as we can and mobilising our community to support our Just Giving campaign so we can support Ukrainian refugees and help them stay connected to their families. The business community has a responsibility to use its resources for social good and I hope we all continue to pull together and help those who need it most.”
