Capita launches Retain Cloud to help SMEs optimise workforces
Capita plc (‘Capita’) today announces the launch of Retain Cloud, a software-as-a-service workforce planning and management solution, for small and medium-sized (SME) companies.
With Retain Cloud, SME staffing managers will be able to have a complete view of resource and people supply as well as work demand which will help them monitor and manage confirmed and potential projects. Optimising workforces this way is designed to help increase profitability and support business growth.
Retain Cloud enables SMEs to optimise their business output by effectively matching work with multiple resources including those who have selected or limited commitment such as contractors, freelancers and part-time employees.
Managers can use Retain Cloud to build profiles against skills and capabilities so planning can be done not only according to who has capacity, but also who has the best skill-set for the project requirements, resulting in quicker project completion and greater client satisfaction.
Retain Cloud’s ‘booking alert’ indicates if there are resourcing conflicts and shows where adjustments need to be made. Additionally, the ‘data import’ tool in Retain Cloud can extract information from other systems such as HR solutions to reduce duplication of data entry and increase accuracy. Allowing systems to seamlessly integrate will help save time and support the businesses’ overall growth strategy.
Retain Cloud was developed by Capita’s Retain International, experts in resource planning and management software for nearly 30 years, whose trusted products are used to manage over 1.5 million people in over 70 countries.
Alistair Hopkins, managing director of Retain International, said: “Now, more than ever, time is critical and managing workforces to deliver on projects can be time consuming. Retain Cloud takes away the complexity of managing resources leaving SMEs to able to focus on the services they provide to their customers.”
