Bringing back the best of the Internet

As soon as we log onto the internet, we're immediately bombarded with content. Just 30 seconds on Instagram can expose you to dozens of images and ads – it's overwhelming.

For those of us running startup businesses, it feels like we're constantly battling not just with competitors for visibility but also against a tide of low-quality, AI-generated content. This "AI slop" isn't just annoying – it's crowding out quality, human-created content, leading to a genuine concern about the future of our digital landscapes.

For startups, these challenges hit hard. Our efforts to stand out are often thwarted by algorithms that prioritise virality over quality. And it's not just businesses feeling the effects; even Gen Z is tuning out, seeking refuge in the offline world, where being disconnected is becoming a new form of luxury.

This dystopian view might sound like I'm anti-AI, which in fact could not be further from the truth. I come from a background in Web3 and blockchain, and I'm a staunch believer in the potential of AI and all the possibilities it brings. However, as with the digital-divide before we are now seeing an AI-divide. AI has so much potential, but is the girl working at the bakery already using it to elevate her life? What about the person cutting your hair? We can safely say that AI is not yet being used by the mass market in a way that truly benefits everyday people

As humans we crave connections – and not just to other humans, but to art, culture, and the physical world around us. And it is this craving for connection what's driving the resurgence of human curators online. As Kyle Chayka writes in the New Yorker: "Our social-media feeds don’t offer much except the forward acceleration of algorithmic recommendations... and thus more in need than ever of friendly faces, personable human guides to help us navigate this treacherous ground. Guided by their own cultivated sense of taste."

We're looking for real people to guide us through the digital noise. A personal touch in content creation isn't just nice to have; it's becoming essential, as more consumers seek out authenticity over automation.

So, what does this mean for startup founders? Amid all the hype around AI-generated content, it's clear that there is a deep consumer craving for a human touch in the digital content they engage with. AI is an incredible tool with a multitude of uses, from scanning reams of data in milliseconds for medical diagnoses to streamlining tedious organisational tasks, but when it comes to content, a human-voice still prevails.

In our approach with Bundle It, we utilise AI to organise, tag, and retrieve all your digital saves with just a click of a button, eliminating digital clutter and the all-too-common question, ‘Where the heck did I save that info?’ But ultimately, Bundle It is a human first app and a platform where users can not only store and organise their favourite digital content, but then harness the power of AI agents to explore ways to monetise it.

Our aim is for Bundle It to become a space where trusted human guides share their knowledge deliberately, and where users engage with content not passively, but with clear intention. I truly believe that what makes you unique is what makes you valuable. The internet is full of noise and we wanted to create a  space dedicated to the things you love, the things that matter, the things that make you… you.

Picture this: you create a bundle based around your expertise and interests and then ask the AI agent how you can monetise this content. The AI agent responds in seconds with a few options, you select your preferred method and then the AI agent starts building it, making Bundle It an infrastructure for you to passively make income from your curated content and expertise.

This type of application of AI isn't about replacing human interaction; instead, it supports startup founders by automating the mundane, allowing them to invest more time and energy into genuinely engaging with their content and audiences. It’s about enhancing your ability to create meaningful, personal connections through your business practices. By providing tools that assist with the heavy lifting of data management and analysis, founders can redirect their efforts towards innovation and personal interactions, crafting unique experiences that resonate with authenticity. Going back to the hair salon owner, we want to make sure that our platform democratises AI, making it accessible to anyone eager to leverage technology to earn money. This isn't just about AI serving the tech-savvy; it's about opening up new possibilities for everyone, regardless of their tech expertise and whether they are an individual or business owner.

The goal is to facilitate a shift from passive consumption to active engagement. Through thoughtful integration of technology, we aim to help reclaim the internet as a space for meaningful connection and genuine creativity. Our platform empowers creators and entrepreneurs to use their knowledge and creativity not just to engage but also to thrive economically, all while maintaining the human essence that makes their content special.
