Aerospace Xelerated hosts Vista Startup Hub at Global Aerospace Summit
Aerospace Xelerated (AX), the Boeing-supported startup accelerator, announced its sponsorship of the Vista East-West Startup Hub at the upcoming Global Aerospace Summit in Abu Dhabi on 25th-26th September.
This year’s summit revolves around the theme, “Investing in the Future of Aerospace,” and AX, a major investor in the aerospace startup ecosystem, will be a pivotal presence in the Vista segment.
The Vista East-West Startup Hub provides a platform for startups to showcase their innovative solutions to a panel of seasoned industry investors. Among the participating startups this year are AR Engineering, an augmented reality software company specialising in professional development tools, and Basetwo AI, which offers a low-code platform for creating digital twins of manufacturing processes.
On 25th September, the summit will host a series of sessions on the Vista stage, featuring startup founders, corporate leaders, investors, and government representatives. At 12:30, Matt Briggs, Head of Partnerships at AX, will conduct a workshop aimed at corporate and government organisations. His session will focus on effective collaboration with startups, drawing on insights from the Aerospace Xelerated programme to help attendees foster innovation within their organisations.
“Our involvement with Vista at Global Aerospace Summit aligns with our mission to support the next generation of aerospace technologies. We believe the collaboration between established industry players and emerging startups is crucial for driving the future of aerospace forward,” said Dr Mariam Ketait, Aerospace Xelerated Lead in the Middle East, Türkiye, Africa, and Central Asia. Dr Ketait will also join a panel of industry experts on the summit’s main stage on September 26th titled “Investing in the Aerospace and Aviation Industry: A 10-year Road Map.”
Now in its 7th year, the Global Aerospace Summit brings together industry leaders and government officials for high-level discussions on the challenges shaping the future of the aerospace sector.
“Aerospace Xelerated is a vital strategic partner, and we’ve teamed up for this edition of Vista at Global Aerospace Summit because their commitment to innovation aligns perfectly with our vision for the future of aerospace – where cutting-edge technology and visionary startups lead the way to transformative change,” commented Katie Coleman, Portfolio Director at Global Aerospace Summit.
