The Apprentice’s final five star to speak at Hustle Awards 2026
The Hustle Awards have become one of the most coveted accolades in the UK startup ecosystem since their launch in 2020. From bold founders who bet everything on an idea, to the teams quietly building the next big thing, the awards celebrate the full spectrum of the grit required to build a business.
And what better way to celebrate an awards evening all about celebrating the very best in startups and business than with a keynote speaker straight out of one of the biggest business shows in the UK.
Fresh from competing, and landing in the top five of Season 20’s The Apprentice, Lawrence Rosenberg will take the stage at the Hustle Awards 2026, delivering an unforgettable keynote speech to all in attendance.
If you don’t know him by now, let us introduce you.
Lawrence Rosenberg is a people-first comms specialist and the Founder of Rosenberg.Media. Named one of PRWeek’s 30 Under 30 in 2024, Lawrence is a well-known industry figure through his frequent media commentary, having featured in The Telegraph, Yahoo, Startups Magazine, and LBC. He is also a PR mentor and trainer for SOBO Club, where he has supported and educated more than 50 startups to wide acclaim.
Lawrence’s varied experience enables him to operate both as a generalist across multiple communications disciplines and as a specialist in technology communications. He has extensive experience supporting companies such as Octopus Energy, AirCar, Apatura, and the Heligan Group, and has cultivated deep personal relationships with tier-1 journalists across technology, cybersecurity, environmental, and business media. His vast national and trade media network has secured regular high-profile coverage in The Financial Times, BBC News, and on the front page of the Evening Standard.
A skilled communicator, media trainer, and strategist, Lawrence is known for his ability to combine strong editorial instincts with a modern, technology-driven approach to PR. His work spans clients from fast-growth startups to global organisations, with a consistent focus on helping leaders and businesses make a positive impact.
Commenting on his appearance as the keynote speaker, Lawrence said: “It’s a special and honestly quite emotional moment for me to be announced as the keynote speaker for this year’s Hustle Awards. Startups Magazine has gone from strength to strength since I entered the PR world, and we’ve both grown in parallel together over the years.
“Startups Magazine has been truly the most supportive media partner on my journey. They published my first byline; they were the first outlet to feature me in print; they’ve hosted me as a guest at countless events; and now I have the opportunity to give back as a keynote speaker for their headline yearly event, having made it all the way to the end of BBC The Apprentice.
“It’s been a wonderful example of a relationship built on friendship. Paige and Anna have become close friends since we first met for breakfast all those years ago, and I’ve had the pleasure of repaying their faith in me with client introductions and event invites, but nothing on this scale. It’s a pleasure and an honour to have the opportunity to speak to such an impressive room of business leaders and repay Startups Magazine’s unrelenting support.
“For the keynote, I’ll be speaking about how strong human communication underpins everything in society, and what better audience than some of the UK’s finest entrepreneurs?! As someone who endured months of countless interviews and TV cameras on The Apprentice, I’m excited to share my thoughts on how authentic communications can help leaders turbocharge their lives. As humans, we communicate almost every hour of every day and it affects every aspect of our existence, so why have we stopped treating it as a skill we can improve?
“I can’t wait for what will be a truly special evening, and I can’t wait to meet everyone.”
The Hustle Awards is taking place on the 9th July at Shoreditch Exchange, and tickets are on sale now.
