Innovative travel solutions with impact

In the second of this two-part series we meet the remaining four finalists taking to the stage and hoping to win one of two coveted Business Travel Show Europe 2026 Innovation Faceoff awards.

A highlight in the show’s action-packed two-day line-up, nine of the most pioneering startups and scaleups will take the stage to pitch bold, game-changing solutions to industry leaders and a live audience of corporate travel decision-makers.

The winners, including the Business Travel Innovator and the People’s Choice award, will be announced on Wednesday 24 June at 11am at the Business Travel Show Europe Knowledge Arena.

The final four entrants taking to the stage during the show are:

KAYAK FOR BUSINESS

KAYAK for Business claims to redefine corporate travel by making it simpler and faster to plan, book and manage work trips for companies of all sizes. For many businesses, booking a trip can often feel like a second job – juggling budgets, cross-referencing policies, and having to manually deal with negotiating budgets, rates and availability when plans change which can often take up too much time and drain resources. KAYAK for Business is powered by a leading travel search engine and direct supplier connectivity to fix some of the biggest frustrations in travel planning, booking, servicing and deliver smarter, faster outcomes and peace of mind for every trip and traveller.

Head of commercial Florian Mueller details the company’s ambitions: “We’re scaling KAYAK for Business globally with support for 29 languages, several global programmes we’re onboarding now and adding to our team. It’s our first time exhibiting at Business Travel Show Europe. We cannot wait to connect with buyers and tell them about our plans to transform business travel planning and help them do what they do best, even better.  We know we have a strong product; winning such a prestigious event as the Innovation Faceoff would further validate that KAYAK for Business is re-shaping corporate travel and help us get that message in front of the buyers we haven’t met yet.”

ACAI TRAVEL

Winner of the co-located TravelTech Show Trailblazer Award in 2025, Acai will be heading to Business Travel Show Europe hoping for similar success at the Innovation Faceoff this year. An AI platform that automates travel operations for travel management companies and travel agencies. When a flight changes, a ticket goes unused, or a traveller needs support, Acai reads live booking data and resolves the issue in real time. It can manage up to 70% of the operational workload without agent intervention to deliver faster resolutions, consistent service quality, and measurable improvements in traveller experience. Ron Glickman, head of sales comments: “Winning the Trailblazer Award last year changed our business trajectory in ways we didn’t fully anticipate. Winning the Business Travel Show Europe Innovation Faceoff this year would mean what we’ve built since then, and what we’re about to show the industry, has genuinely moved the needle.”

SEATCASH

Seatcash will present FareX.ai: a predictive intelligence platform for airline travel, helping business travellers, corporate buyers, and meeting planners make smarter air purchasing decisions and secure significant savings on their airline spend. Co-founder Chris Amenechi explains: “Business Travel Show Europe is the opportunity to showcase our company in one of the most sophisticated travel markets on the globe, evangelise our mission and build relationships with the key players one on one. Winning the Business Travel Show Europe Innovation Faceoff would be a key milestone in our journey.”
