Tayba Azim
BIO
Tayba Azim is a highly qualified Psychotherapist and Mizan Practitioner, with over two decades of experience supporting women and communities through healing, growth, and empowerment. Working in an integrative, relational and somatic way, Tayba specialises in trauma, domestic violence, women’s health, faith and identity, offering clients an anti-oppressive and culturally sensitive space. Her practices can be separate, but they often uniquely blend between talking therapy with Mizan Therapy, a traditional womb-healing modality, to address both emotional and physical wellbeing holistically. Alongside her one-to-one work, Tayba is a trainer, educator, and speaker, and also facilitates faith-rooted retreats for Muslim women, creating nurturing spaces for rest, reflection and transformation. A solo mother of two and proud “Glam-ma” to two grandsons, Tayba brings deep empathy, resilience, and lived experience to her work - grounding her practice not only in professional expertise but also in authenticity and compassion. She is also fluent in many languages: English; Urdu; Punjabi; Pothwari/Mirpuri.
