Sam Frankel
BIO
From a young age, Sam Frankel – (Sales Director at Polypouch) has always been interested in cosmetics and started off her career in the industry with a fairly new to market cosmetics company which has since gone on to become an industry leading beauty retailer. The role led to Sam working her way up the career ladder which included high profile roles for large cosmetic companies, where she developed customer relationships, before being headhunted to work in luxury retail managing accounts for Liberty London, Selfridges, Harrods and John Lewis.
In 2017, with many large corporate positions under her belt, Sam joined the family business, Polypouch, citing packaging at a crucial and interesting time for the cosmetics industry. Sam now works with high profile companies, specialising in the cosmetics, food and drink arena looking at refill packaging options, or recyclable and compostable materials to ensure brands are being as eco-friendly as possible.
In 2021 she was promoted to Sales Director managing key accounts, and researching new technology or materials to ensure Polypouch trailblazes the way in the packaging industry.
Sam is very passionate about using more widely recyclable and compostable materials, as well as looking at ways to offset the costs of the Plastics Tax, which comes into force in April 2022.
Sam enjoys finding a solution for each customer no matter how big or small, ranging from start-ups to retail outlets. Customer service is key at Polypouch, and is also something Sam is extremely passionate about, especially as the company grows.
