Roi was born in Tel Aviv, and started his software engineering education during his service in the Israeli military, where he also began training software engineers himself. After almost seven years in the army, Roi left to join Algotech, a medical imaging startup acquired by Kodak.

After Algotech, Roi gained experience across technical and business-oriented roles. Most recently, Roi was Vice President of Engineering at insurtech unicorn Tractable, where he managed a team of 75 people. In March 2022, Roi was appointed as CEO of Sprout.ai, where he is driving Sprout.ai’s mission to work in partnership with insurance companies, building groundbreaking AI and data-led products. Sprout.ai aims to deliver instant and accurate decisions enabling an exceptional claim experience and driving high customer retention with improved efficiency.
