Trademark Tonic Director, Kirsty Brummell, qualified as a Chartered UK Trade Mark Attorney in 2012. Prior to setting up Trademark Tonic, Kirsty worked in-house for over 6 years at a FTSE 100 company (FMCG sector) managing global trade mark and design portfolios, gaining invaluable insight and experience in the commercial aspects of a business with numerous brands and designs.

Before working in-house, Kirsty trained in private practice in London and other locations in the UK, dealing with various trade mark portfolios and clients including startups, SMEs, creatives and multi-national businesses.

Kirsty's educational qualifications include an LL.M. in Commercial Intellectual Property with Distinction (Nottingham Trent University), a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law (Manchester University), a Ph.D. (Sheffield University), M.Sc. (Nottingham University) and B.Sc. (Birmingham University) in the area of Microbiology/Biological Sciences.
