Having worked with a diverse group of companies during his 26 years in the international tourism & transport industry, including Concorde International, Austrian Airlines, Singapore Airlines and Rail Europe (Australasia), James has a wealth of industry expertise and knowledge.
Passionate about rail travel and highly skilled at helping global companies innovate and evolve for modern customers, James soft-launched Rail Online in Australia in 2019. The launch into the UK market followed in May 2023.
James’s mission is to offer rail passengers more intelligent, efficient and hassle-free travel, whether as part of their daily commute, a family day out or as part of a cross-country adventure.
James is able to provide comment on a range of topics, including the Rail Online proposition and mission, the constantly shifting drivers of travel purchasing, the importance of offering genuine value to consumers and why rail travel is the future and what is hindering its progress.
