Al Costa is an entrepreneur - he sold his first company to a NASDAQ-listed one and since then created others in US, UK, Brazil, and Spain.

He is currently leading TeknTrash, which obtains data from trash, and Alkol Biotech, currently, the only provider of sugarcane in Europe. He is also a Professor of Big Data at EAE, author of five books, and he is a project advisor on biotech, AI, and high tech in general for a number of agencies in the EU.
