Welcome to the Jungle launches FUTURE(S) to help businesses navigate shifts in the workplace

Welcome to the Jungle, the global job-search and employer brand platform, has released its new printed book FUTURE(S): A Leader’s Guide to Rewriting the Rules of Work. Co-authored with Charter, a future-of-work research group, and a selection of global experts from business, academia, and workplace innovation, the book offers valuable advice to HR professionals, business leaders, and hiring managers on how to navigate today’s most pressing workplace challenges.

The book launch comes as businesses worldwide tackle sweeping changes driven by new legislation, including the EU Pay Transparency Directive and the Employment Rights Bill, alongside ongoing debates around flexibility, return-to-office policies, AI integration, and a global landscape of DEI rollbacks.

FUTURE(S) explores these critical topics through six in-depth chapters:

  • DEI under attack: tackles how to achieve Diversity, Equity and Inclusion success amid recent backlash, questioning whether the resistance is to the initiatives themselves or the language surrounding them. It also offers advice on navigating the current political climate, featuring insights from global professors and the CEOs of two DEI-focused organisations – Rainbow Disruption and Theory of Enchantment
  • Culture: a case for connection: investigates whether corporate culture is dead and why traditional models no longer resonate with teams, featuring insights from Workweek's Chief People Officer and the creator of the I Hate It Here newsletter
  • Ways of working: free for a quick call?: explores how rethinking meeting culture is the first step to challenging corporate philosophy on time at work, with insights from global experts, including the founder of 4 Day Week Global
  • Is impact the new bottom line?: examines why today’s businesses need to focus on purpose over profit and how to create genuine social impact, with insights from experts, including the former Director of Equitable Growth at B Lab
  • Is AI your new recruit?: assesses who will be most affected by AI, particularly its impact on entry-level jobs, and highlights the human skills that will stay in demand and remain irreplaceable. Featuring experts from ServiceNow, a platform that uses AI to streamline workflows and operations; Guild, which uses AI-driven automation to enhance employee support; and Jasper, which is shaking up marketing strategies with AI-powered content generation
  • Management: a seat at the table: Looks at how involving employees in board decisions and sharing ownership can reshape company culture and drive better business outcomes

With Welcome to the Jungle’s global expansion, the book adds another key milestone for the growing brand. Founded in France in 2015, the company acquired UK-based recruitment platform Otta in 2024 and is now expanding into the US in 2025. Welcome to the Jungle currently connects over 2.1 million candidates with nearly 12,000 tech companies, including global brands like Multiverse, Klaviyo, Octopus, Personio, Patchwork, and Ben.

Caroline Fischer, UK Country Manager at Welcome to the Jungle, said: “We’re at a pivotal moment in the evolution of work, this is make-or-break time for leaders. HR professionals and business leaders are facing one of the toughest job markets ever, with higher candidate expectations around factors such as flexibility, and alignment with values. Leaders are scared of making the wrong move, one that could cost them money or damage their culture. FUTURE(S) offers fresh perspectives on how companies can adapt to AI, DEI, flexibility, and values, providing a clear, research-backed roadmap to help them navigate these challenges and make impactful decisions.”

As part of its ongoing commitment to opening up the conversation around important topics such as DEI, workplace culture and AI, Welcome to the Jungle hosted panel discussions to celebrate the book launch. Featuring prominent industry voices – including Courtney Boateng, co-founder of To My Sisters; Stefanie Sword-Williams, founder of F*ck Being Humble; Sheeraz Gusher, co-founder and co-chair of People Like Us; and Israa Quadourah, Marketing and Project Growth Leader at Apax – the panellists explored key themes from the book.
