Situated in the heart of the Naujamiestis district on the grounds of a former sewing factory, the development is set to open its first phase spanning 15.5 thousand sq. m by 2025, with nearly half of the space—6.5 thousand sq. m—already leased or occupied.

Covering an expansive two-hectare area, Tech Zity Vilnius will integrate 55,000 sq. m of space, fostering nearly 5,000 job roles. Designed to host about 100 domestic and international companies, the campus will feature a conference center comprising four spacious areas, accommodating up to 1,000 participants. With a recent funding injection of EUR 8 million, the entire EUR 100 million project is on track for completion by 2026.

The early occupants committing to Tech Zity Vilnius from the project's inception include:

• "Omnisend": A highly successful Lithuanian startup offering e-commerce solutions utilised by over 100,000 companies worldwide.
• "HeavyFinance": A swiftly expanding finance startup aiding farmers in combating climate change.
• "Turing College": A virtual AI college offering accredited courses in data science, machine learning, analytics, and data engineering.
• "Pepi Play": A game development studio specialising in mobile games with a substantial global player base.
• "Firstpick": A venture capital fund actively investing in Baltic startups, having supported over 15 companies.

Negotiations are also underway with another prominent game development studio, with the name set to be revealed soon.

Darius Žakaitis, co-owner of Tech Zity Vilnius, emphasized the core principles guiding the project's execution. "We aim not to demolish but to revitalise old industrial structures, transforming the office landscape into a vibrant, perpetually active urban space. Essentially, it's about the people and companies contributing to Tech Zity Vilnius. We're off to an excellent start—nearly 40% of the reconstruction is already underway, with spaces being occupied. These entities perfectly embody our vision—a community fostering growth, generosity, and a collaborative spirit."

Rytis Laurinavičius, manager and co-founder of Omnisend, highlighted the expansion plans for their largest office based in Vilnius. "The ambitious Tech Zity Vilnius project aligns with our goal of uniting talent in a convenient, multifunctional location suitable for work and leisure. Currently, our Vilnius office accommodates about 120 colleagues requiring diverse office spaces, from private offices to meeting rooms, events areas, and even a video studio. Moreover, a significant portion of our staff resides nearby in the developing Naujamiestis area, making this new location more accessible and sustainable. We anticipate a successful transition to our new office by spring 2025.”

Tech Zity Vilnius represents the future epicenter of technology and creative industries in Europe, revitalising Naujamiestis within the revamped complex of the former "Lelija" sewing factory.
