Stepping into your entrepreneurial identity with confidence, clarity, and inner peace

This World Mental Health Day, I really want to reach out to the entrepreneurs, founders, and business builders out there. The ones chasing big visions while carrying invisible weight. The ones who know they’re capable of more but feel stuck, overwhelmed, or plagued by self-doubt. The ones who, on the outside, look successful, but inside are battling procrastination, imposter syndrome, or constant pressure to “do more.”

I see you. I was you.

Not that long ago, I was running multiple successful businesses and on paper, things looked great… but, behind the scenes, I was stuck in constant survival mode.

I was always "on." Always pushing. Always feeling like there was never quite enough time, always feeling like I was spinning the plates and wearing all the hats and then that overwhelming feeling that I wasn’t doing enough or being enough.

It wasn’t until we were forced into lockdown, that I found myself completely burnt out – physically and emotionally drained. But, during this time, I then finally paused long enough to hear what my body and mind had been trying to tell me for years: something had to change!

That realisation became a defining moment for me. It was then that I realised that I couldn't keep living in a way that looked successful on the outside, but felt empty on the inside. That’s not success, that’s self-abandonment – a life spent meeting everyone else’s expectations while losing touch with my own. Enough was enough.

That’s when I discovered Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) and it helped me uncover the deep-rooted, subconscious beliefs that had been keeping me in overdrive – beliefs formed early in life that told me I had to earn my worth through constant productivity.

Through my own healing, I was finally able to slow down, reconnect with my inner self, and experience something I hadn’t felt in years: peace – real inner peace.

Once I addressed these, I could step into my true identity as an empowered entrepreneur: calm, confident, and fully capable of taking my businesses to the next level.

This is the core message I want to share with other founders and business builders – success isn’t just about strategy, hustle, or more hours. Real growth happens when you step into your new entrepreneurial identity – the version of yourself who is confident, self-assured, and unshakable in the face of challenges. When you release the doubts, procrastination, and imposter syndrome that live in your subconscious, you unlock the confidence, clarity, and inner peace to reach new heights.

Yes, strategy matters. But, your state of mind, your self-worth, belief systems, emotional regulation, values… that's what determines how far and how sustainably you grow.

You may ask, that’s all ok, but Vina, what happens when:

  • You’re battling procrastination?
  • You feel like an imposter in your own business?
  • Anxiety hijacks your focus and creativity?
  • You’re constantly “busy,” but never really feel accomplished?

You might think you need to try harder. But the truth is, that in these moments your nervous system is overloaded.

You’re likely stuck in a fight, flight, or freeze response - and when you're operating from that space, even simple tasks can feel overwhelming. Why? Because when you're dysregulated, you lose access to your executive function - the part of your brain responsible for planning, clarity, and decision-making.

This isn’t laziness. This isn’t a lack of motivation. It’s your nervous system trying to protect you.

So, how do we really reconnect and find inner peace and calm in the chaos of business building?

Here’s the truth: your business doesn’t need a better to-do list – it needs a more peaceful, empowered version of you.

That’s why I now help other entrepreneurs heal from the inside out through Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) – to uncover and rewire limiting beliefs, using somatic therapy – to release stress and trauma stored in the body and nervous system regulation – to create long-lasting change. Because real growth happens when you feel, calm instead of chaotic, clear instead of confused and empowered instead of reactive.

So, when anxiety and stress strikes – here are 5 quick top tips:

1. Start with affirmations: when you’re stuck in fear or overwhelm reminder yourself of affirmations such as:

  • “This moment is temporary”
  • “I am capable”
  • “I am enough”
  • “I can do hard things”

They may sound simple, but spoken with intention, these words can shift your state in powerful ways.

2. Look for the glimmers, not just the goals: we’re all familiar with triggers – the things that make us spiral. But what about glimmers? These are small, beautiful moments that spark peace, joy, or connection. The more you look for glimmers, the more you’ll find and the more your brain and body start to feel safe, grounded, and resilient.

3. You’re allowed to put yourself first: in fact, it’s essential. You are the engine of your business. When you are well, your business grows from a place of alignment, not adrenaline.

4. This World Mental Health Day, have a mental wellness check-in: ask yourself: where am I still running on empty? What belief is silently holding me back? What would it feel like to run my business from a place of peace?

5. Seek support: if you’re done with burnout, if you’re tired of the noise in your head and the pressure in your chest, if you’re ready to reconnect with your true self and build a life that actually feels good, myself and many others are here to support you through a transformation. Success doesn’t require suffering. Let’s uncover what’s really holding you back – and release it for good.

This World Mental Health Day, remember: the business you’re building deserves the best version of you – and that starts from within.
