Spreckley partners with startup incubator Block Dojo
Entrepreneurs building businesses on the blockchain or using AI can now take advantage of a joint initiative from Block Dojo, an early-stage venture builder, and Spreckley, an independent B2B PR firm.
Under the partnership terms, Spreckley will participate in Block Dojo’s extensive acceleration programme for startups, offering training and guidance on effective public relations, corporate communications and why they matter. The training will see startups curate their messaging, build their PR toolkit, and get a head start on the competition through first-class media engagement, all of which will help them secure the attention of investors.
To date, Block Dojo has invested in and built 83 startups that have identified real-world problems and sought to build solutions by leveraging the power of scalable blockchains in conjunction with other technologies such as artificial intelligence, IoT, and big data. It has invested in over 250 founders, who collectively raised more than £12m in investment in 2023.
Commenting on the partnership, Matthias De Cnuydt-Hope, Programme Director at Block Dojo said: “We provide a programme that delivers real results, where founders leave with an actual product and customers lined up. We help them validate their idea, match them up with experienced mentors, help them build their MVP and financial model and, finally, prepare them to successfully raise their pre-seed round.
“Fundamental to this journey is understanding how best to communicate to the market and the media, and this partnership will address this issue head-on.”
Richard Merrin, CEO, Spreckley, added: “We are offering not only a training programme in the basics of PR for its cohort program, but also helping to steer organisations through the early stages of their startup journey.
“Block Dojo has an impressive record and we are looking forward to being able to accelerate these startups’ growth with this relationship. We are confident that our guidance will help their cohorts jump to the front of the queue for investment, and naturally, we look forward to offering support at every level of growth for these innovative companies.”
Spreckley has 40 years of experience in launching businesses to the market and a comprehensive network of partner agencies and organisations across the world. Its network is designed to help ambitious startup founders reach the next level of growth through powerful storytelling and lead-generating digital marketing.
Spreckley has also assisted in developing strategic partnerships with tier-1 publications covering startups and technology, ensuring that Block Dojo’s cohorts benefit from media attention from the earliest stages of their journey.
