OptimallyMe secures investment from The Player’s Fund
OptimallyMe, an innovative health optimisation startup, has secured investment from The Players Fund, the UK’s first athlete-led venture capital firm.
The Players Fund’s investment in OptimallyMe connects athlete investors with the fastest-growing health optimisation company in the UK, quickly becoming a known name in health, wellness and sport. Solidifying its position with the industry, OptimallyMe is led by an advisory board of health experts, including pro golfer and former world no.1 Luke Donald (MBE); award-winning nutritional psychiatrist (MD) Dr Uma Naidoo; and athlete and leading specialist within Sports and Exercise Medicine, Dr Andrew Murray, whose work spans across a wide range within the sporting industry including the Ryder Cup, British Athletics, The Jockey Club, Premier League and Rugby Football Union.
With current and past partnerships including HYROX, Recharge Health, Fresh Fitness Food, the Marylebone Cricket Club and now backing from The Players Fund, OptimallyMe is expanding its growth across the health and wellness sector to become the go-to holistic health optimisation platform within the industry.
Founded in 2022 by CEO Edward van Harmelen, OptimallyMe provides personalised health optimisation technology and blood testing to individuals and businesses through its D2C and B2B offerings. Blending cutting-edge AI technology with health data, OptimallyMe allows users to understand their health status while receiving customised recommendations on how to optimise both mental and physical health through fitness, nutrition, mood, sleep and more.
