More than 2,700 registered attendees at eMobility Expo World Congress in just one week
More than 2,700 mobility industry professionals have registered in just one week for eMobility Expo World Congress, the innovation event for the electrified, autonomous, connected and sustainable mobility industry, to be held in Valencia (Spain) from 21 to 23 March.
The event has already opened registration and will bring together more than 5,000 professionals and executives from the automotive, aeronautical, naval, railway, infrastructure and logistics industries, energy producers and distributors, battery and charging system manufacturers, and micro-mobility and urban mobility solution providers, as well as public representatives at European, national and regional level.
Leading international companies from the mobility industry have already confirmed their participation in the largest event on sustainable mobility in southern Europe. This is the case of vehicle and component manufacturers such as Ford and Toyota; companies with micro-mobility solutions such as Vadecity; energy distributors and manufacturers of charging systems such as Iberdrola, Endesa, EDP, Power Electronics and Floox Power; airlines such as Vueling and Air Nostrum; shipping companies such as Balearia; new transport models such as Zeleros; technology providers and digital systems such as IBM, Ricardo or Caresoft; or technology centres such as Eurecat, Redit, and ITE (Instituto Tecnológico de la Energía) and clusters and associations such as Railgrup, IATA, or Clúster Aemes, among many others. All of them will showcase their latest solutions and innovations to transform the sector towards more sustainable, connected and autonomous mobility.
"The aim is to establish a forum for debate between industry and public administration to define a viable roadmap for the transformation of the industry towards more sustainable mobility and lower emissions, and to ensure its continuity and boost its growth", says Sandra Infante, director of eMobility Expo World Congress.
A three-day international congress with more than 340 experts
Valencia will become eMobility World Capital and will lead the debate on sustainable mobility with the eMobility World Congress. During three days, the conference will provide a holistic view of the challenges facing the industry, with more than 340 experts taking part. The Urban Mobility Forum will bring together mayors and mobility councillors from cities such as Valencia, Paris, London, Malaga, Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid, Seville, Zaragoza and Grenoble -a city in south-eastern France that was named European Green Capital in 2022- to share their strategies for becoming green and sustainable cities.
In addition, at the Governments & Manufacturers Summit, public representatives of regional and local governments from Spain and Europe, such as the European Union Commissioner for Transport, Alina Valean, or the mobility and transport councillors of Spanish regions such as Valencia, Andalusia, Catalonia, Madrid, Aragon, Galicia, or the Basque Country, among many others, will analyse the challenges of these regions to attract and retain large manufacturers of electric vehicles, aircraft or batteries and charging systems.
The congress will also host the Valencia Battery Convention 2023 by EUROBAT, the annual event of Eurobat, the European association of industrial battery manufacturers. In total, the eMobility World Congress will gather 9 vertical forums focused on each segment of the mobility industry and four agendas for each professional profile in 6 auditoriums in parallel.
The event is supported by the Generalitat Valenciana, the Valencia City Council, and the Diputació de Valencia, as well as international sectoral organisations such as Eurobat and IATA.
