Lead the change: introducing cohort 05 of the Anjal Z Techstars Founder Catalyst Program

The Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority (ECA) has announced the 20 startups selected for Cohort 05 of the Anjal Z Techstars Founder Catalyst Program, designed to drive innovation in early childhood development. Partnered with Techstars, the program supports startups focused on children aged 0-8 and their families, with a commitment to enhancing health and nutrition, early care and education, child protection, and family support.

Running from August to November 2024, the program offers a blend of virtual and in-person experiences. The Ignite Track features virtual sessions for early-stage founders, while the Launch Track includes a four-week, all-expenses-paid in-person program in Abu Dhabi for more established startups, aligning with the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Week.

Program Tracks:

  • Ignite Track: Tailored for early-stage founders, it includes virtual masterclasses, mentorship, and pitch feedback. It is open to startups with monthly recurring revenue under USD 20,000, less than USD 250,000 in funding, and small teams.
  • Launch Track: Aimed at established startups with higher MRR, it includes on-the-ground support in Abu Dhabi, masterclasses, mentorship, and a localization project as a go-to-market strategy. This track also offers non-equity funding of up to USD 220,000.

The program aligns with the WED Movement themes, focusing on intentional parenting, culture and identity, and sustainable family-friendly cities. Startups will gain access to high-caliber Techstars Masterclasses, extensive mentorship, and local ecosystem connections to enhance their impact on early childhood development.

  • Launch Track: Cubtale, Raising Superstars, Nao Now, Cali's Books, Jade Autism, Neolook Solutions.
