Industry first AI search monitoring company Otterly.AI exits stealth

Otterly.AI, the AI search monitoring solution for marketing teams and brands, has announced its launch from stealth with over 1,000 users, including notable names such as Datadome, Skale, Downtown Ecommerce, and Videoloft.

Founded by SaaS veterans Thomas Peham, Klaus-M. Schremser, and Josef Trauner, the fully bootstrapped startup is set to transform how brands monitor and optimise their presence in the rapidly evolving landscape of AI-powered search.

With the rise of generative AI search engines such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, and Perplexity.AI, Otterly.AI provides actionable insights to help brands optimise their visibility, link mentions, and brand sentiment across these platforms.

Otterly.AI’s platform tracks key metrics across all three major AI search platforms, delivering weekly insights into how trends evolve and providing the tools brands need to enhance their AI search performance. It answers critical questions such as:

  • Google AI Overviews: is an AI Overview triggered for my topics? Is my website, or my competitors’, visible?
  • ChatGPT and Perplexity.AI: are links to my website included, and how prominent are they? What is the sentiment and positioning of mentioned brands?

Since starting operations in October, Otterly.AI has garnered a customer base of users including agencies, brands, and tech companies. These early adopters are leveraging Otterly.AI to address the unique challenges posed by AI-driven search experiences.

Otterly.AI is founded by three experienced SaaS entrepreneurs dedicated to building products that make a meaningful impact on day-to-day workflows.

Klaus-M Schremser is a serial entrepreneur and (co-)founded companies including Gentics,Wikidocs and Usersnap, with three successful exits to Atlassian, Austrian Press Agency and saas.group. He brings 25 years of experience in growth marketing, sales and digital product development.

Josef Trauner founded SaaS startup Usersnap and, over the course of a decade, scaled it from zero to a major exit in 2023.

Former VP of Marketing at Storyblok, Thomas Peham brings his experience leading a team of over 30 marketing experts, helping to build Storyblok’s leading position in the CMS industry.
