Women are still underrepresented in the UK’s technology workforce with only 24% of them working in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

According to a PwC UK research report, 78% of students can’t name a famous female working in tech.

But there are women who are pushing the frontiers of innovation in the tech industry, building companies and making products that change our lives for the better. So why aren’t we talking about them and their achievements more? We will also be discussing topics around raising funding as a female entrepreneur, challenges when approaching investors as a solo founder and the importance of resilience and tenacity when you're building a business!
