Go China Entrepreneurs’ Bootcamp is a virtual programme to prepare overseas companies for practical business expansion work in China.

 

This 5-week virtual programme will be delivered through expert contributions across the webinars outlined below. Registered companies can apply to participate in the pitching session during the programme and the final list will be announced before the last week.

 

WEEK 1 - 14:00 - 15:30 BST, Thursday, 7 April

 

Network & Ecosystem

We will give an overview of the innovation ecosystem in China, explain how to take advantage of TusPark & TusStar network, and share some tips for establishing a strong connection to some Chinese contacts before heading to the country.

Then our invited local government officials will help identify the potential opportunities and genuine support from the most popular metropolises in China including Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen.

 

WEEK 2 - 14:00 - 15:30 BST, Thursday, 14 April

Culture & Regional Strengths

Some international experts dealing with China will join this session to share their opinions on the cultural values and business etiquette in China, and how these can serve you well in a business context.

In addition, we will talk about some emerging cities with strategic industries and fast-growing local economies such as Qingdao, Changsha, and Urumqi.

WEEK 3 - 14:00 - 15:30 BST, Thursday, 21 April

Fundraising & Legal

 

We will highlight the key legal considerations of doing business in China this week.

Then we will outline the venture capital scene in China, followed by an investor panel discussion on what Chinese investors look for in international businesses.

WEEK 4 - 14:00 - 15:30 BST, Thursday, 28 April

Industry & Marketing

 

In this session, we will introduce some industry-specific opportunities and potential business partners.

Besides, we will discuss how to choose the right platform to tell your story in China, developing some strategies for mapping your goals and driving performance.

WEEK 5 - 14:00 - 16:00 BST, Thursday, 12 May

Pitching

 

10 companies will have the chance to pitch with potential investors and network with the community this week.

*All webinars and the pitching session will be delivered via Zoom. Most sessions will be held in English. Simultaneous interpretation to English will be provided for the sessions conducted in Mandarin.
