Calmer & The Turmeric Co. lead a special event on the importance of, & connection between, mental health, nutrition & physical wellbeing.
In support of National Nutrition Month (March) and Stress Awareness Month (April) this year, the inspirational founders of Calmer and The Turmeric Co. are coming together to lead a special event on the importance of, and connection between, mental health, nutrition and physical wellbeing.
The Mental Health Foundation cited in 2018 that 74% of UK adults have felt so stressed in recent years that they felt overwhelmed or unable to cope; the figure today is likely to be significantly higher. The World Health Organisation also reveals that better nutrition is related to and improved overall wellbeing, stronger immune systems, and lower risk of non-communicable diseases.
The purpose of this event is to help you understand how to better support your overall health and wellbeing, and ultimately achieving greater balance in your life.
The event will cover:
- The scientific connection between your mental health, physical health and nutrition
- Practical steps you can take to embed healthy daily habits that empower you to feel more connected to your purpose, improve your focus and boost your performance
- Tips on how to "Personalise your plate" in alignment with National Nutrition Month, and how to regain "Connectivity, Certainty and Control" in alignment with Stress Awareness Month
Hosts Tania Diggory (Entrepreneur, Author and Founder of Calmer) and Thomas Hal Robson-Kanu (Professional Sportsman and Founder of The Turmeric Co.) will blend their expertise on mental wellbeing and the power of natural foods to support physical health in a unique conversation that draws from their lived experiences, as well as founding businesses that empower people to proactively look after their whole health in their everyday lives.
